Elite skill button
Im proposing a button where when you click on it, it will tell you all the elite skills you still need to cap arranged by campaign then by profession. I just went back to skill capping and i dont know which elites i need. This would be very helpful to alot of people.

Try 'Mapping Out'?
No sense in wasting dev time when there is an easy alternitive.

Yea, it'd be nice, and a good idea for GW2. But Skill Capping doesn't take that much effort, just lots of time. So putting 10 minutes of effort to get on the wiki and cross-check which ones you have/need and then printing out or writing down the ones you have/need isn't that bad.

I just went to priest o' balthazar and checked which wasn't unlocked. But i suppose there were a few elite already unlocked on other chars. I still just looked on the priest + k to see what i missed.

Hm... you can use an Elite Tome and a Priest of Balthazar to see which ones are left. I just set as secondary a profession with no elites sort them by elite, and then I can easily compare them.
the only problem is when your secondary has elites, since there is no way to sort subcategories, and they get mixed up and it's harder to check. That's why I suggested this:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10185527
As for the locations, the Wiki is the proper tool.

I just made myself a checklist the good ol' fashioned way with pen & paper when I did skill hunter, and crossed them off the list as I went.
I can't see anet spending their time adding something like this to the game when there are numerous ways online to aquire such a list.

Good program.
Can't see any benefit for the devs to add this though. If you really dont wanna dl, just go to wiki, search through the lists, and see what you dont have. (For this, be methodical)

+1 for Mapping Out
otherwise if you want a quick view of your missing elites, use a elite tome or balta priest as said above.

You mean there are two of us left in the world that still do that.
I bought a notepad wrote guildwars on the front and note everything on importance.
Festival collectables.
Elites
Character Birthdays
In fact anything I might need, I even have the original dye mixes noted on one page.
Do it for most strategy or rpg type games.

Since you only need to be in NM to get the cap, finding out which ones you've missed is probably the hardest bit.
/notsigned, because it really isn't necessary and there are ways around it.

I had the same problem until I put every elite skill in the game into an Excel spreadsheet. This is back when I only had like 3 elite skills. When I capped one, I'd delete it so I'd know what I had left. Then I'd look it up on Wiki, find where it was, and CAP! So while this would be a good idea, everyone else who has Legendary Skill Hunter found some way to make it work, so I'm sure you'll figure something out.

Just use Priest of Balthazar to see what you have to unlocked yet (necesary cap) Elite Tome to see what you unlocked but did no get on a char.
